Season Summary
Welcome to traveling youth soccer for the Fairfield, Iowa area!
Fall 2026 open scrimmages will begin the week of August 17th, with regular team practices starting August 24th. Each team's coaches will communicate specific practice days and times, but practices are typically two to three times a week and begin around 5:30 pm. Our first games are scheduled for Saturday, September 12th and will continue most Saturdays through our End-of-Season Tournament on October 24th & 25th (location TBA). There is no Holiday Break this season. Game schedules will be published at 641soccerleague.com as each weekend approaches.
IMPORTANT: Regular registration ends Friday, August 21, 2026. Late registration ends Wednesday, September 9, 2026 but includes an additional $15 late fee!
New this season: Iowa Soccer and our local 641 League have adopted grade-based age divisions in place of the birth-year system used in past years. Team placement is now based on your child's current school grade — see the chart below to find the right team.
Ongoing Communication: Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions for how to sign into your child's team. The Heja app will be used for all communications about practices, games, weather delays, etc. for U8–U14 ages. U18/HS families will use the Ollie app instead — instructions will be included in your confirmation email.
U8 Parents — You will have the option to be part of a non-traveling team or, if your child prefers to compete with other towns, we will have select travel weekends available. Sign up and communicate your travel preference with the U8 coaching team when dates are announced.
U10, U12, U14, U18/HS Parents — You will be registering your child for a traveling soccer team competing on the dates listed above with other clubs in the 641 League. Coaches will communicate details about game times as each weekend approaches.
Returning Families — We are continuing to use the same online registration system. Please use the same login information you set up previously. This will allow the system to locate your household and previously registered players, simplifying the process for you. You may be asked again for a birth certificate, as the system no longer retains this information from year to year as a security measure.
